Penelope takes my writing and makes it pleasantly readable, helping me focus on my audience. She has an artistic touch and a great sense of design that show up in the publishing of my works.

I’m excited to have Pen working with me on my new project! She’s always a great sounding board for my ideas and helps me organize my thoughts, illuminating the path through the weeds of my story. I am looking forward to continued collaboration on my manuscript and eventual publication.

I thought it would be fine for my actors to use photocopied pages, stapled together or stuck in a binder. Not only does Pen read and edit for consistency, she produces bound copies of my scripts, adding a professionalism to my work and making the actors happy – an asset not to be discounted.

I rely on Pen to manage my business in the Outer Banks when I’m not there. In my estimation, she can do anything!

Cy Rich, Jr.

Entrepreneur and sponsor of the Blacklands Project

For years I had a vision to tell the story of North Carolina’s Blacklands. I collected source material and talked to a number of writers, but the project never seemed to get anywhere. Penelope and Phil (McMullan) somehow managed to wade through and organize all the information, and the result has been an unmitigated success.

Treasurer, Theatre of Dare

Pen has been volunteering to produce our playbills for the past two seasons, and I couldn’t be happier. She's a real professional - great to collaborate with! Her design work is always clean and clear, communicating our intentions with meticulous detail.  And as is the case in the theatre, the playbill  is usually a rush job, and she hasn’t failed yet to meet the deadline.
